Bringing in the loft feeling isn't that hard. There are only a few elements that you have to take into account for a successful result. Essentials such as cognac leather, black matte metal and dark wood are musts. Then you can add your own twist to get a surprisingly industrial interior.

Cognac, mustard yellow and moss green

In addition to grey, cognac is the most popular colour in the selection of sitting rooms in this style. Cognac is a warm, cosy shade that works surprisingly well with nice contrast colours such as mustard yellow. But moss green also looks nice in combination with cognac. A big ottoman in the same cognac leather, a dark wooden TV cabinet and you're all set for those long cold winter nights.

Add another open cabinet in matte metal or an old cabinet, aged or not, and put a vintage metal lamp on top of it. After all, your furniture and accessories can have a past. Recycling is trendy for a reason!

Another brick in the wall

If you want to go all the way for the industrial look, you'll want to break the plaster until you come across the rough bricks. After brushing them and adding a primer, you can paint them white to get a more suble touch.
Not into dust and breaking down walls? An easy solution is atmospheric photo wallpaper with the look of bricks or stucco. But the natural appearance of concrete also translates perfectly into wallpaper. Plenty of opportunities to bring character into your home.

It's all about the details

The raw structure of concrete and brick combines effortlessly with accessories in a stonewashed finish. Just think of textiles for your curtains and bedding. Stonewashed linen in aged colours adds just a tiny bit of the industrial feeling you’re after, while staying silky soft.
