Ceppo di gre is an Italian limestone with rock fragments. Ceppo di gre was already mined in different quarries in Italy in Roman times. At the beginning of the 20th century, the extraction of ceppo di gre started in the quarry of Gré, Italy. This is currently the only quarry where ceppo di gre is being mined.
Today, ceppo di gre is still a high-quality product and besides the authentic natural stone, you can also choose a ceramic version.
