Veneer parquet is composed of a thin top layer of real wood, applied to a very hard, waterproof HDF board, made of dry wood fibre. Veneer wood is different from multilayer parquet because the top layer is thinner than 2.5mm. The floor is scratch-resistant thanks to the different varnish layers that have already been applied during manufacturing.
